To become an Anesthesiologist you need:
4 years of Medical School and 3 to 8 years of internship and residency.
Also, you can earn from 259,948 to 321,686 dollars for being an Anesthesiologist.
For more information go to: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos074.htm#top
Just copy that and paste it in your address bar.
I hope I helped!

You have to go to med school. An Anesthesiologist is a doctor. If you want to be an anesthetist, you would not need as much schooling, but would not make as much money, either.

No, 4 years college and 4 years medical school and you're there. However, residency takes 4 years, and you get paid a minimal amount while working 60+ hour weeks.

You'll need to get your nursing license (4-5 years), masters in anesthesia, medical school, and then possible an anesthesia training.
Go for an anesthetist--it's the nurses vesion of it. You'll still get over $100,000 as a nurse though, and some places will even pay more.

In the U.S. you have to get an M.D., which means that you get a bachelor's degree, generally, followed by medical school, which is often four more years. I don't know how much you do on top of that to specialize in anesthesiology.
