For the microwave - put a cup of water with 1/4 cup of lemon juice in it. Nuke for 3 minutes or so.
For the house, put a pot of water on the stove with a cup of lemon juice. Let it boil for 30 or 40 minutes.
Works like a charm.

I've heard that if you boil a pan of milk, it gets rid of any bad smells but I've never tried this. Tell your mrs not to cook kippers ever again. Just the thought of them is making me feel ill!

After cooking, put a cup of lemon juice (Jif) mixed with water and boil for a few minutes, then wipe down inside of the microwave. This takes away the smell of fish. Edit: I've been beaten as well lol !!

Anything containing lemon would be good to overpower the smell of the kippers.

OUst and scented candles might help. But that smell is a tricky one to shift. Maybe you could knock up a strong curry. Or go on holiday

I have no idea, but if you find out how to get rid of the smell of the sewage farm I drove past today from my clothes, I will be eternally grateful!
