Aristostle in fact did not contribute at large to Math science.
His main contribution is in the Logic field giving some basic definitions we know until today as silogism.

de@r gEntLe m@n, Well i don't have any idea about Aristotle and his philosophy. But i do know about Socrates and Plato. Socrates contribution to the world was that he explained that " justice does not only mean doing good to our friends or harming our enemies or pursuing our own interest. Justice involves the well-being of all people. Ensuring the well-being of the people includes giving each person his due." And Plato explained that, " Doing ones duty according to ones status in life. According to him, there are 3 attributes of human soul-reason, spirit and appetite. For responding to these attributes, there would be 3 classes in a society : The rulers, warriors or soldiers and the traders, artisans etc. Justice in society will be when all the classes did their work without interfering with the other." Strictly speaking, Aristotle didn't do anything in mathematics. But he did do a great deal in formal logic. I suggest you examine Aristotle's contributions to logic.
