were not married and i have a great support system in place . the thing that annoys me not trying to offend anyone but the last time i was pregnant i come on hear and got absolutly drilled about being 17 and pregnant whats the difference in being 17 and being 25 what u got to do more things and travel and ur married and u may have saved up a little . so what the love you are going to give that child is no different then what a 17 year old can give . i may not be married i may not get to party i may not get to travel but who cares im going to love that child with everything i have and my partner will do the same. and if its money that is the reason behind people being so against teen pregnancy there is no guarentee that the money situation will be as good as it is for ever. u deal with the baby and the situations when it comes. u push through n juggle things to make do . thats what mums do they use what they have .the most important thing is that the baby gets love.

I felt the same way when I was that far along. The truth is, I'm almost 18 weeks and I still feel that way when I don't take my diclectin. That is a wonder drug. I wasn't gaining any weight until the past few weeks because it was so hard to get anything into me, and keep it down. Eat what you can for now, and hopefully for you it will go away, because I don't think mines going to :(
Congrats, and best of luck to you! it sure is an exciting time!
p.s. I'm not married either, and I don't think its a big deal. I would rather have a house and a baby than be married with neither!

Yes its normal to experience nausea, morning sickness, and food aversions in pregnancy. You will also experience lots of other symptoms too. The best advice I can give you is to ask your obgyn for a pamphlet/book about pregnancy or even go to a local store and pick up a copy of the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting". That book really explains every pregnancy concern a 1st time mother might have. Also have you thought of preparing for your new baby. I would start gathering baby things early on so you will be prepared for your little one. You might look into support groups for young mothers or even ask family members to lend a few helping hands during your pregnancy. Good luck and Congrats.

Yes, that is completely normal and can last for quite a while. I think my "morning" sickness lasted until somewhere around 14 weeks. The thought of foods made me sick, too. The good thing is that one week you will realize you were only feeling sick one or two days and then before you know it, the sickness will be completely over. :) I'm at 20 weeks now and loving every minute of it. Good luck and congrats.

Even though you are thrilled, I hope you and your "partner" have a support system in place. No amount of enthusiasm could prepare you for what it takes to raise a baby at your age. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

And if you dont want to be "drilled" for being a teen mom then don't state your age! If you are so convinced that there is nothing a 25 yr old mom can offer a child that a 17 yr. old mom can't then don't bother mentioning that you are a teen mother.

This is normal, and you're doing the right thing by eating what you can. Some women are sick their entire pregnancies, and others have no sickness at all. Sorry you ended up getting the morning sickness, but hopefully it will subside by the end of your first trimester. Good luck!

It really depends on what state, and what country for that matter, that you are referring to. If in that Country or State, they are both underage, then it is unlikely that the girl could get into trouble. However if she was in a position of leadership over the boy, like idk, Head Girl or something at school, then the boys family, or the state could pursue rape charges against her. If in that country/state, the boy was underage and the girl was not underage. Then once again the state, or the boy's family could pursue charges against her, in which she would be charged. I am an Australian, so in Australia, the legal age to have sex is 16 for boys and for girls. So in this case (if it was an Australian example), the girl would be in trouble for having sex with a minor, even if the sex was consentual. In the USA the legal age of consent is 18-years old in about half of the states, in others it is 17-years old. So if she lived in the States where the legal age to have sex is 17, she could be charged with having sex with a minor. The legal age of consent, to have sex. Simply means, that once you have reached that age, you can legally have sex with another person that has also reached that age.

Yes, the symptoms you are describing are normal. You have morning sickness. Try eating a few saltines before you get out of bed in the morning and eat small meals like soup. Congrats on your pregnancy.
