AnyMania is a DDR sim whose big claim to fame is that they play with your own songs of any format. What I'm confused about is do they actually create the steps for you automatically or do you have to create the steps like you do in Stepmania? Please tell me if anybody downloaded this. I want to have more info before I download it.

Yes, you have to make your own steps for AnyMania. Songs as well.

I would personally reccommend you stick with Stepmania, since websites and sim authors already make steps and songs for you.

Stepmania is the best DDR sim out there since it is free and has the best support.

If you need any more help with Stepmania, don't hesitate to ask me.

You must create your own steps to the music in AnyMania Studio, if I recall the title correctly. Then the AnyMania program itself can play it. For the fullest features, you can get the whole thing for $14.95 or so.

This is NOTHING (in fact, it's far less) compared to Stepmania. Not only does it have those features and more, it also has an "auto-generate" step-file generator for each difficulty, which can also be edited. Graphics are also much better, themes range from fair to incredible... Stepmania is the cheaper and far superior Dance Dance Revolution Simulator.

Do NOT Download AnyMania.
