How about a comparison of a football team and a successful company. You know the deal, everyone has to play their part. Receiver can't catch the ball unless the quarterback throws it. Quarterback can't throw the ball unless the linemen make their blocks. The play won't work anyway unless the coach has the right play called for the circumstance. Nobody will win if they haven't prepared correctly. Pretty much the basics of a good business plan. All work together to a mutual beneficial outcome. Plan has to be good (at least viable), and everyone has to execute their part. Try that, might get you an "A"

Think about writing it from a different perspective.. go some where and find a copy of Andy griffiths' "What it was, was football".. desicribe it for what you really see and what really happens on the field.. start with the pig that had to loose its hide so that someone could have something to play with..describle the little cow pasture where the game is played and how a bunch of people choose up teams and get in them little meetings and try to figure out how to run at, bump into, knock down and step on one another.. describe the convicts in them stripped shirts and how they toot the whistle.. and about how someone kicks, throws and carries something that looks like an oblong pumkin.. and don't forget about them girls in short dresses.. and how the guy that marks off the seats on them wooden benches thinks that everyones behind is the same size.. write it from a perspective that discribes it the way it really is.. You will have a ball and so will the class.. good luck

watch one of the playoff games that was played this weekend. then write about how players missed throws that were good. and if the defense was good enough to keep the QB on his toes and sack him. many things to write about. Like Brady has not found rhythm with his team yet in the playoffs. and How the colts and ravens defense did not let their guard down so no touchdowns were scored. and how the ravens turned the ball over twice and that lead to indianpolis scoring. and how the patriots sacked rivers twice yesterday. how well the saints played their offense and how they kept the eagles from winning. the best suggestion is to go to NFL.com and read the recaps of the game and write your paper off of that. i know how hard those papers can be. but read the recaps and that should help you! good luck! hope this helped you.

I would write abou the terminology, terms like Blitz, Red Dog, Sack, Zone, fly Pattern.
Football tends to use more fierce phrases like war, where as baseball uses more subtle desriptions, perhaps due to football's inherent contact.
think about things like Rush, Block, Spearing, Headbutt.

u can write about the football -(like the actual ball, but then againt that'l b sorta borin) o u can rite bout a fave player, a fave team or evn ur fave gome ever!!! (mayb even best proclaimed game evr!!) or try the downs an ups in the nfl year of 2006. (like a news report specail or something) -- that'll b cool

The trials of being an offensive lineman - the responsibilty you have to either open holes for running backs or protect the QB. The methods of blocking, the subtle way you can hold a defensive player and get away with it. (Hey, I was a guard and held on about half the plays and never got flagged.)

do this:

1.go to google.com

2.then type in something like ''football history'' or whatever you need to kno.

3.then save a couple pgs of stuff on your desktop.

4. now you print the pgs of stuff and get to work!!!

p.s when is this due again?? you might wanna keep the due date in your mind......just because....

p.p.s the reason you saved the stuff on your desktop was so if something FREAKYY happend, then you always have that.jic
