The legal age is 14 but when you are that young they have labor laws. You are not allowed to work in hazardous conditions. Also they only allow you to work for so many hours. The government also set laws for children till the age of 16.

th legal age to work is sixteen. Someplaces require you to be 18. But if you are younger than that you have to ghet special permission from the state or goverment and sign some papers.

It is 14, but you have restricted hours. You need a work permit.

I know the grocery stores hire baggers at 14 years old. It depends where you want to work.
