If we truly are honest with ourselves, we could all find something wrong with every President that has, and will be in office. Bush is no better. I think this is why they BEG people to get out and vote. The real thing that people forget is, THAT THE PRESIDENT DOES NOTHING :WITHOUT THE REST OF THE LEGISLATURE AND CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT'S LEFT HAND MEN PICKING everything he says or does A PART!!!! People who think otherwise, need to grow up, and read their history books. Yes, he is the Chief Commander In Charge-and does represent the US, BUT he is by no means sitting in the White House calling the shots by himself! He doesn't even write his own speeches I bet!! Either way, no matter if you, me, or who ever likes Bush, he was chosen by the people. Won't be long now, and we'll get another winner, that we all will be talking about!!!

Every woman in the Middle East who now has a chance to live a life of dignity is for this war, because democracy grants them rights they never could have hoped for before. All the women who lived lives of servitude, who saw no hope for their daughters, support this war. All the burka-wearing women in neighboring Islamic countries, who still have to live like indentured servants to their unwashed, uneducated wife-beating husbands are for this war.

Remember that most of the Middle Eastern combatants who have died have done so of their own choosing. For their own selfish, and often sick, twisted reasons, they CHOSE to resist democracy. They CHOSE to defy the will of the people in free elections.

Just to let you know, The President is well aware of this before he is sworn into office. I feel that because he feels so much for the soldiers in Iraq, he indeed does not get a lot of sleep. I also feel he doesn't get a lot of sleep because of the unstable situation in Iraq and the people of Iraq. I feel that he does have the best intentions at heart. He, along with everyone else knows there have been some mistakes. But we also have to stop pointing fingers at him. What about the Iraqi government? If they were doing what they said they would do, there should be no problem confronting this sectarian violence with the US backing them up. So yes, I do think the president has trouble sleeping at night. Is it because of guilt? No. It's because of a problem he wants so dearly to fix.

As a woman, who knows quite a number of other women, I can tell you that most of us don't like war, however, as for Pres. Bush most of the women I know voted for him, like him, and trust him. War is tough, and death is a consequence that we do not take lightly. You and I are able to have free speech because of what those brave men and women, past, present, and future have done for us. For that I am eternally grateful. Doing a job to the best of your ability allows us ( and I'm guessing the President as well) to sleep quite peacefully.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of gender discrimination you are implying, but the Bush family, along with other US citizens who can think, know that we cannot sit idly by while there is a serious terrorism threat in the world. The president did not choose for this to happen, but he has stepped up and done his duty in the face of ill-thought criticism.

I know I support his decisions.

I have done my share of bashing the dude, but I see some logic in getting Suni and Shia to at least talk rather than kill each other or go terrorist to bring attention to their causes.
It might work, I have doubts because 2000 years of history say they never get along, but where there is a chance, at least try.

I know we are not happy with the president decisions, but is not easy being the president if any of us where in the white house our decisions would be questioned as well, i don't think he enjoys when the things go wrong!

He sleeps at night because we do not have to worry about terrorist attacks.

As I have said before, if I was a woman I would throw myself at his feet and let him have at me.

Even as a very heterosexual guy, however, I would rather do him than most democratic women, like Pelosi or Hillary.
