For the millionth time he didn't change his skin color!! He has the genetic skin disease Vitiligo which attacks and depletes the pigment in the skin!!

He can profess it's a skin disease all he wants, but don't we know better?
Michael Jackson, for all his talent, is a seriously confused and psychologically messed-up individual. Didn't he supposedly have surgery so he'd look more like Diana Ross (at least that was what I read). Because of the treatment he received from his father during his childhood, he's done things in his life which are very hard to understand and excuse.
I think a psychiatrist could have a field day treating him.

He didn't change his skin. He suffers from a skin disorder where the body stops producing melanin.
Why do people believe everything they read in some tabloid??
This is to: 2goodtobafreshman: your answer makes no sense. LeVar Burton, Samuel Jackson, Eddie Murphy & Wesley Snipes are dark skinned men who are treated like kings (as they should be). What are you talking about? Wealthy people in general are treated better and Michael Jackson has been very wealthy since he was a child, before his skin disorder was evident. I don't see your point.

Michael suffered from a condition called vitiligo. it is a congenital condition that affects the pigmentation of the skin. you've probably seen black people with splotches of white or pink skin. that's it.in order to deal with that he underwent many treatments professionally to lighten the skin in a controlled manner. thus producing a more appealing look instead of going thru the changes of vitiligo.

He says it's a skin condition (vitiligo). However, vitiligo usually results in patches of skin losing pigmentation, not the entire body.
Bottom line, who knows why he does anything? He's a seriously disturbed individual.

My dad Has that he has has "spolthces" off white skin on his hands.....his hands dont all of a sudden turn white!

I think that we All Should Know By Now That Michael jackson Had A Thing Called plastic Surgey...Where They get Doctors to mess around with your face and they get paid for it to....
I Think that the surgey he got cause he's skin to become white....i dont think he choose to become white...Maybe it was an accident with the materials they needed for the surgey!

He says it's a disease..but it's a well known fact in the black community, that the lighter you are, the better you're treated... I hate it, but then again this is coming from the same people who idolize video ho3s and people who idolize rappers for no apparent reason.. The only reason being that they have money and girls..

he had a disease yes, but it didn't cover his whole body. But having blotches here and there looks strange so he just bleached his whole body to one tone color so it would not be noticable....so much good that it did him...
