What were the conditions outside overnight? You might have a frozen battery.

Well you replaced the starter. It is always possible it too could be defective, but for now we will assume it isn't.

Jump Starting: Sometimes a battery will either be so dead or perhaps defective that just attaching cables to another vehicle won't be sufficient to get her going. If the battery is just dead, attach the cables in the order recommended on the package, and let the jumping car run for awhile while you are all connected up. This will allow the alternator to hit your battery with 14 volts and give it some juice. About 5 minutes should do it.

If that doesn't do it, remove wires from your battery and wire brush them clean and reattach. If that still doesn't help, your battery should be replaced.

Was the car turning over at all? Like trying to start, but wouldn't?

Do you have any power at all? Do your lights work? Does your radio work, etc? If so, your battery might be okay, and it is something else.

If your car won't start...it could be because it isn't getting any air, fuel, or spark. It's easy to check if it has spark. Pull a spark plug out, and watch the spark while trying to crank the engine.

No spark could be distributor problem, or battery problem.
Low Spark could be sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, battery, etc.

If you have good spark, and your battery is okay...check to see if your engine is getting fuel. If it was cold last night, maybe any condensation from your gas tank froze in your fuel lines. A gasline antifreeze could do the trick for you. Sometimes it's just a minor little thing.

Try plugging in your car's engine block heater, if equipped. See if it will start once the engine is warmed up.

Long story short, it could be a number of things. Give us some more details of what you have tried, etc, and we can help you more.

The most draw on a battery is the starter motor. Your radio works because there is still enough power in the battery for it to operate. The heater motor, lights and wipers may also work now. Jump the battery from a vehicle that is running (positive to positive and negative to negative) it should start. If your climate is very cold you'll have the same problem again. If you have an original battery (AC Delco) in your car. it's time to replace it. They usually last 6 to 8 years in a vehicle that has never had an electrical problem

have someone stand in front of your car with the headlight on and observe the light while you turn the key to start.if the light goes dim and then turn on,this indicate there is power coming to the starter. if the light does not change at all, this indicate there is no power coming to the starter such as bad ignition switch or burn fuse. if the light goes off, this indicate the battery is dead.

if it's crankin over but won't start either it's not getting gas or has no spark to the plugs check for these problems first, if this is not the problem then look for; a faulty crank case position sensor. when these go bad they stop sending a pulse of electricity to the car's computor. the computor then cuts the fuel supply off to the engine...

What kind of car (year/make/model/engine size)? When you say it's not starting do you mean it doesn't turn over or that it turns over but doesn't start up?

To be of any assistance I will need more information.

you might want to check your spark plug wires. they may be burned out, that could be one of the reasons there's no fire. if that's the case you may need a basic tune-up.
