I don't know what else to call it other than a flashback. It's like a physical high sensation when I touch something that only lasts about a few seconds. I get maybe 4 a week. I've tried to look into it and the only things I found remotely relating to this, is fashbacks caused by exessive amounts of marijuana over a long perod of time. Now, I used to smoke a bit, but quit for about 2 1/2 years and just started 4 months ago smoking here and there. I'm only smoking like a bowl a week...if even that. It's not a big deal, just something I'm curious about. Any ideas?

Everything Marijuana can do for the brain, the brain can do for itself. Over time, the use of marijuana will cause the brain to realize that it no longer needs to perform this task of sending a "sense of reward" to your brain.
Your brain may be recovering and just mis-timing these signals, causing you to feel a short-lived natural high.

The mind can do wonderful things -- including getting you high all by itself. There may be many explanations including a simple emotional response to something you remember. But it isn't marijuana.

I've been smoking almost 10 years, never gotten anything like that. Flashbacks are something you get from LSD, not weed.
