Ken you are right, however I am a democrat and I think. I think it is time to start fixing supper. I think that the weather outside has been just rotten. I think George Bush is the worst president that I have seen in my lifetime and that goes back to Ike. Remember, Nixon, Reagan and the first Bush was in there. I think that the war with Iraq was started for no good reason. I think people have been killed over there for the same reason, none. I think we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. If we take the troops out or we leave them there we have no real good answer, I think personally that not investing more lives and money on a lost cause would be my choice. But keep in mind we can not win in either case, there would just be less American deaths this way.

I think that we republicans as well as democrats both want the same things for the most part. We just see different ways to get there. I don't think either party has all the answers and sometimes I wonder if either party has any answers. What makes me sick is the two parties fighting over an issue just because the other party thinks it an good idea.
I believe the war in Iraq may be the right thing to do even though it's an unpopular decision. Going after OBL in Afghanistan had everyone's support. But keep in mind the president has access to information we don't, and he knows things that would probably keep us awake at night. So I am relying on the fact that the war may have prevented attacks on our soil. I'd rather fight them there than here.
To get back to the point of the question. I think that in general democrates do feel, or at least they act like they want what's the popular opinion of other liberals even though it may not be the best for the country in the long run. What I see is liberals having the opinion of "live and let live" That doesn't solve problems, it just puts them off till they get worse.
I believe Republicans are trying to do what's best for the country, but the results of their ideas may not be seen for a while.
I also believe we should stop all aid to other countries. Let the UN and all their spleder get off their butts and help the rest of the world out instead of us having to do it all. Let's use that money to upgrade our schools, teaches pay, and help those that really are not able to help themselves. That's this republicans opinion.

I think the thinkers (Republicans) care more about the Republican party than they do America or Americans. I believe it is an asset to feel first and then think. It's also possible that some of those thinkers really knew that the war in Iraq could not be won, but why would Dick Cheney care? Haliburton in Iraq has made him millions. So we know for sure that he cares about at least one American--himself.

No, not real in any respect. Quote: Democrats oftentimes help government rules that earnings working class families, look for greater company regulation, and much less government impression over the guy take a glance on the billions to be earned by particular agencies and the upward thrust interior the value of residing for each guy or woman, such simply by fact the poor, simply by cap and commerce, and Barney Frank blockading regulation that would have enable us to ward off the housing and banking disaster it is maximum answerable for the present state of the financial equipment. With each bill they bypass, they are influencing our lives further and extra, and not for the greater advantageous. seems to me they are the different of what you're quoting.

Hey Ken - what kind of military background do you possess that qualifies you to declare that the war can't be won? The biggest impediments we have in prosecuting the war are two-fold. The media's liberal attack dogs & the idiot liberals in the Congress - including several Republicans that insist on this PC crap & not getting behind the administration & kick some butt over there.

There are 300 million Americans. They are 18 million living in the NY Metropolitan region, 18 million in the LA Metropolitan region. To simplify all the millions of Americans into this or that is called living in a black and white two dimensional world.

How do you know the war can't be won?
The outcome wasn't sure in World War II. The outcome sure wasn't seen when our army was freezing at valley forge during the revolutionary war.
If the republicans don't think highly of the united states, why are we the only ones defending it after we were attacked on 9/11.
When you get older, you'll get smarter. The most dangerous thing is a closed mind.

The 'thinker' knows that we will be fighting on American soil if we do not succeed. How much $$ is your firends and family and life style worth to you?
Oddly enough, Dems do think. They just don't think about you and me and America. They think "if we please and appease at home and abroad, we can stay in power, at least until the lid blows off. Then we simply turn it back over to the 'thinkers'"

If this administration had thought about the consequences
of this war, like injury & death, they might have done things
differently from the start.
I don't think Bush took into account that our soldiers could
return without a leg, arm, eye or in a coffin or what the cost
would be to treat & bury our guys & girls.
