will lemon juice work as a carpet cleaner?

Be careful. Lemon juice can take the color out of your carpet. Back in the old days, girls wet their hair with lemon juice and then laid in the sun to lighten their hair "natrually".

With a spray bottle saturate spot with lemon juice, allow to remain for 5 minutes, wipe clean w/wet towel.

If this does not work, try WINDEX (works every time).

Dishwashing liquid soap and water is better. Put in a bowl and spot clean the carpet. Do not put in a cleaning machine. Way too soapy for a machine.
