Film about an astronaut who's strength increases after looking at the sun.?

Question

I vaguely remember watching a film, probably early eighties. An astronaut, while in space, looks directly at the sun. It doesn't blind him (from what I remember) but on his return to earth he gets stroinger when he looks directly at the sun. The only scene Iremember is where he comes out of a hospital with sunglasses on, takes them off and rips down an electric fence with his bare hands.....or something along those lines. Does anyone know what that film was called?

With what you suggested i somewhat imagine that's Apollo 13. i have not considered this movie for a lengthy time period yet save in recommendations one astronaut going outdoors and getting his hand stuck.

i remember a movie for tv in the 90's. called 'heat vision & jack' the guy would increase his iq when looking into the sun..
