The older he gets, the more he seems to develop a sense of handsomeness to him. The best source for explaining why this is happening is to ask your friends. Tell them that you are curious about why they feel he is worthy of "addiction." It will give them a chance to talk about the actor they find attractive, and it will give you a chance to understand their thought process...and it will give all of you a chance to share a bond of friendship.

I think DinahLynn's answer is probably the best you'll get in answer to what your friends see in Daniel, because obviously different people will see different things, but I'll tell you what I think personally. (And yes, I do think Daniel Radcliffe is cute).

I'm too old to be "addicted" to Daniel Radcliffe, although I'm sure I would be if I were nearer his age. Since I'm not, I would at least classify myself as a "devoted fan." If I had a choice of meeting Daniel, or meeting someone nearer my own age (like Mel Gibson or Kevin Costner or Jason Isaacs, etc), I'd actually choose Daniel.

I've often wondered why I felt that way, and this is what I came up with:

I love reading, and fell completely in love with the Harry Potter series, even before the first film was released. I have kids, so the mother in me, immediately "adopted" the poor orphaned boy who was forced to live with his horrible aunt and uncle. I wanted to take him in myself and make him part of a real family. So naturally when the films came out, I became curious about the little boy who played the part.

As the books and films evolved into a story that was darker and more mature, part of me still wanted to love and protect Harry's character, but the part of me that mentally became a teenager as I read the story (I always see myself "in" the story when I'm reading something, if it's written well) was quite attracted to Harry's personality and his bravery. Up until Goblet of Fire was released, I found Harry much more attractive than Dan, which never made much sense to me since the only real difference was the glasses (and you'd think without them would be better). But with the release of GOF on film, my teenage mentality apparently overpowered my mother mentality and I started to noticed what Hermione said in one of the books about Harry being "fanciable" and I got a bit more curious about the real-life person behind Harry on film.

I started checking out some of the fan sites dedicated to Daniel Radcliffe and listening to interviews he'd done (even really old ones from when the films were first coming out) and I was completely overwhelmed with him! His maturity and intelligence are evident in nearly every single bit of media I've been able to find, and his charitable endeavors with Demelza House show a level of caring and compassion that is present in few people today, particularly in teenagers (that's not a slur, it's just acknowledgement that most teenagers don't have the resources to even consider charitable endeavors).

Dan conducts himself as a young man any mother would be proud to call her son, and he makes it very easy to forget that he's a teenager. It is incredibly easy for me to see him as an equal in age and intellect, and the older he gets, the more handsome he becomes.

For the people like Gibson, Costner or Isaacs to be mature, intelligent, caring, compassionate, etc (not to mention quite easy to look at) is almost "expected" of a successful adult celebrity. But for Daniel to be all those things at his young age, makes him (in my opinion) a truly rare and special individual and someone I would sincerely welcome the opportunity to know.

Robert Pattinson whilst he exchange into in Harry Potter. the two appear like hobos now. Edit: Oh, sorry. Daniel. Daniel is the better actor. from time to time, Robert is as stiff as a board and shows no emotion. it fairly is a topic many of the actors in Twilight have.
