That just happened to me too. Lost 22 pts. I must have been picked for best answer but then someone reported me for violations so they took my pts away and deleted my answer.

Apparently they aren't your Friends today. Typically they will send you violation notices when you've posted inappropriately. If you not clear on why, contact them.

You gave someone a rude anwser in it..and they reported it so..then you get an email saying it was reported and bla bla bla..Hope that helps.
