They make pretty good sense here at Answers, if you read the rules, although I got a answer removed because they didn't recognize the anagram once and called it "not an answer".
The customer service at Yahoo News Message boards was evil, or incompetent, and I suspect they deliberately set up some of the problems their users encountered. Too many features "didn't work" on a predictable basis.
Count your blessings - at least the "thumbs" work the same for everyone, no matter if you like them or not.

They've annoyed me plenty of times by not responding to my questions. HOWEVER, Yahoo! has been the most visited website on the Internet today with more than 412 million unique users. The global network of Yahoo! websites received 3.4 billion page views per day on average as of October 2005. In November 2006 Yahoo has been battling with MySpace for the top U.S. visited website online.
So, I can't blame them for not responding...

If this is because of violations, just remember someone who ISN'T in yahoo customer service reported you first, and I'm sure they (Y!CS) don't have a lot of time to pore over each report before making a decision.
Who cares anyway?

What stuff? I'm a webmaster. I've placed 3 clients on Yahoo! (Wish I'd placed more...) I've had only the best (friendly, prompt, capable, in-person, etc.) service from Yahoo! - surprising for the inexpensive level at which we enrolled...

You bet. They delete questions and answers - seemingly at random - and if you email them to ask why, they don't even have the courtesy to answer.
Customer Service? Customer Couldn't Give A Flying F*uck, more like.
PS Bet this gets deleted....

You've saved me the trouble of wasting five points. I want to know when someone has w/drawn their question, why do they leave it on here in the open answers column??? I clicked on to answer and was annoyed that it was still listed as there when it wasn't!!!

where do i begin..........
well, first, it deletes half of my answers when i didn't do anything wrong.
second, it deleted one of my questions, look at this question i asked that they deleted- how much does the nintendo wii game console cost?
then yahoo said that i had violated their rules so it was deleted
third- i can't contact half of my friends on my email because i get this email back from a mailer daemon saying that it can't be sent.
fourth- i tried to contact them about my problem and i was snubbed off, so i switched from yahoo
