the model doesnt have to be perfect or real detailed just a basic model i have to create please help me

hey good luck on the project!! if you want it huge, get 3 or 4 postboard tape together and try to draw the picture from the coloring page.then cut out the openings. I did that for girl scout international day/friendshipday. It was cool.

Go to the hardware store and pickup balsa wood and posterboard. The balsa comes in all the shapes and sizes: sheets, dowels both round and square.
I suggest using posterboard for the arches. Cut a template for each level's arch. I hope you have some knowledge of geometry, it will help in the construction. I can predict the worse problem you'll encounter is compromising the arch size to the number of them going around the colosseum. DO NOT do any gluing until you have the basic structure figured out and don't add details until that basic frame is finished.
Build on a larger, temporary base then you'll think you'll need.

Take a look at a few modern architectural models on the Internet. Those will give you ideas for construction. Browse around this site, you'll find the "About the Models" and the "Virtual Museum."

just use a hotglue gun and cardboard which is free and bends easily with the grain ...thats all you need.... every bit of it can be cut from cardboard boxes ad hot glued together
