I had 3 or 4 x-rays on my hand before I found out I was 5 month's pregnant. It won't hurt baby. They will put an iron apron on you before the x-ray is taken if you tell them there is a chance of pregnancy. Bye the way, my daughter was born perfectly healthy! My OB told me it takes more radiation than a couple of x-rays will put out to do any harm to baby.

Good Luck!! ;)

listening with a stethoscope isn't correct in any respect and if you haven't any revel in you'll uncover the moms middle cost, the sounds of fluid the relocating dogs. A sono isn't correct for dog rely both, an X-ray is nontoxic to take throughout being pregnant and it's the most effective correct option to get a dog rely and investigate for measurement and if they'll all are compatible by way of the delivery canal. If you press too difficult you'll harm the domestic dogs, an skilled hand can believe domestic dogs however once more no longer so much expertise will also be informed from that, mainly dog rely one might be in the back of one on best to the part ect. If you're puzzling over my revel in I labored at a vet as a tech and feature accomplished part of the RVT publications. btw I would not waste cash on a HPT for a puppy, they're most effective pregnant for sixty three days, and a vet can do an examination for part the cost and let you know if they're pregnant and round day fifty eight is while you get the x-ray.

Yes..If you are pregnant and have an x-ray then you could hurt the baby. They will specifically ask you at the beginning if you could be pregnant. When they ask just tell them that you possible could be and they will do a pregnancy test before they even let you have x-rays. Another thing they will do is cover you with a lead shield.

If its for the dentist you will be okay. That is why they put this big blanket type thing over your abdomen area. The rays and such that happen during an x-ray are not the greatest for you to begin with. So yes, it could harm your baby. So just make sure to have them cover up your abdomen area! And good luck on your ttc journey!

i am an x-ray tech and yes if your in the first trimester it is not healthy and can harm the baby. However asked to wear a lead apron around your belly, the lead will protect the baby. Also it wil be aimed at you teeth so that is away from your belly. Share your concerns with your doc. I am pregnant now and have to stay behind lead walls for safety.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled while pregnant and the dentist just used a local pain killer and 2 lead drapes over me to conduct the x ray. Ask you doctor prior to going also.

I'm not sure. I know when you go to the hospital they ask you if your possibly or are pregnant. B/c I think it can actually do something then to harm it. But x-ray on teeth, not sure.

x-rays aren't good in an early pregnancy. They'll likely ask if there is any chance of you being pregnant when you go. Later in a pregnancy they're ok, but early, early on, its not worth the risk.

Well usually in doctors offices they place a lead apron over your vital organs..(heart.lungs on and on). An xray on your skull shouldnt hurt the baby. If you are really concerned then you should speak with either your dentist or your doctor....if your not preggo why would you ask?

They won't do x-rays and/or treat you if your pregnant. They consider it liability issues. That's one of the big questions before you have any dental work done.
