I thought it had to do with him shedding but he did a week ago and still doesnt eat, i know if he doesnt eat soon he will die, he's pretty pale right now too. please let me know if there is something i can do.

If he is showing signs of sickness then take him to a vet.
You snake won't die from hunger from just a few weeks.

Check the temperature in your tank, he might be getting cool in there. If that is the case, turn up the heat a bit, wait a few days and try to feed again.

Also, you should never feed your snake live food.

I am not an expert at snakes, even though I know a thing or two. If this snake was in the wild I might know what was going on. I think you should take your snake to a vet. The vet will probably take so x-rays and find out the problem. I think I remembered something! If your snake is a girl, it might be pregnant!! If a snake is pregnant, it stays in the sun, so it can lay eggs faster.
This is a relief to the snake because during its pregnancy, it doesn't eat a thing! Nada. Nothing. Some pregnant snakes even die of starvation, because of it's not allowed to eat anything! Snakes are a real mystery. They sure are exciting too.

I have a snake that hasn't eaten in two months. It's that time of year right now. Some snakes go off feed during the winter months. Just keep trying to feed him every week. If he doesn't take it within a few minutes. Take out and try again next week.

Trust me your snake will not die especially at that age. On record... the longest that a snake in captivity has gone without food is 22 months. A few weeks will do nothing.

Try soaking a thawed mouse med.-hot (not scolding hot) water for about 2 min. before feeding. It makes the snake think it is alive. If he continues to not feed you should take him to a vet. Although it is true snakes somtimes go off feed in the winter it is usually ones that are breeding and getting a night temp. drop so if he is not breeding then it isn't really normal.

I don't know much about snakes but I do know they can get sick like the rest of us. One thing is he might be cold. They start to shut down when the temp in their environment drops. If that doesn't seem to perk him up there is some sort of stuff you can get at the Pet store that you put on their 'lips' and it gets them to eat. My brother has 5 snakes and swears by this stuff. Dont' know the name of it (sorry) but if you were to go into a pet store and tell them your snake won't eat they would be able to show you what you need. Good luck.

he might want a live mouse to eat as he may not like frozen ones as much and also they like to attack their pray and they believe it is alive nut maybe he don't think so. i would try him with another mouse but i would wiggle it in front of his face and let him lung at it. if this don't work then you could try him on live mice again.

Snakes can sustain themselves for months. If it just went thru the shedding process rest is all it requires for awhile. And it may not be a he. It may be a female. females are even more liable for that type of behavior.

HI
Sometimes they won't eat if they are too cold, have a respiratory problem requiring medication or parasites, a vet trip might be necessary
