I have been best friend with this guy for 3 years now. When we first met he was on a split up from his wife and we kinda had a little thing going. We finally decided that we could hide anymore so we jsut broke things off and left it at if it's meant to be then it will be in the right time. In the mean time we have gone to each other with EVERYTHING! Not even in a sexual way. Now mind you I am 25 and he is almost 30. A few months ago i got out of a serious relationship and turned to him. over about a month he would say things to me and i just blew it off. Then one day we decided it was time for US. I have 3 kids and he has 2, with this we decided that we where going to look for a 4 bdrm house. We found this great house to rent this last Thursday. Friday night we sat and talked about who would go in what room everything. Then Saturday afternoon I get a text message from him saying, well basiclly its over. I know there isnt anyone else. im just hurt im losing my best friend.

We continued to text message each other yesterday and when i finally got an answer it went something like this. My patience and my tolerance level had reached a breaking point. Now my boss and I sat and talekd about it today and came to realize something. Over the last week he has had a severe migraine i took him in Thursday night for a scheduled MRI MRA. My boss said that with all of this being so not like him that she feels it might be that he found something out and is trying to push me away so I don't get hurt in the long run. However at the moment all I want is my best friend back. This was what I was worried about. I even called his ex wife Saturday to see if she knew anything and she was just as shocked as I was. She told me that just a week before he had been telling her how in love with me he is. I guess that is why none of this makes any sense. I've ALWAYS been able to read him and he reads me. This time though I just don't get it.

give him time. i know its hard and you are hurting but hassleing the situation will make things worse. stay away and dont text for a while (a week if you can) then text him and ask if you two can meet up for chat just so that you can move on as you need answers to do this. as for your friendship it will be hard with you having the feelings you do and him also! i really hope you two can sort this amicably! goodluck :-)

That's very difficult to understand. On the other hand, it's not a good sign for your side that he gave no explanation, didn't give you the message in person with no explanation. Best friends don't do that sort of thing.
