Heres some of the quick fundraisers we have done before at our dances:

- Traveling Bake Sale - its a bake sale but you have to go to different businesses and ask them if they would like to buy stuff to eat. We went around noon and we were sold out after 7 businesses. It was great!

- Design a t-shirt & sell them. For example have an 8th grade prom t-shirt with the theme of the dance and stuff like that. Sell them before the dance and tell them that you have to have the money when they order, that way you can take whatever profit you make and spend it on decorations.

- Do an Eat What You Want, Pay What You Want dinner. We usually did something easy like a spegetti meal or something easy. And have everyone bring something in.

- Hoop Shoot - we would charge each person a dollar a try and they would have to make the following shots:

lay up
shot from the block
shot from the middle of the lane
free throw
three pointer
half shot

They couldnt miss any of those baskets because once they missed then they were out. And if anyone was lucky enough to make all of the baskets in that order, then they would win an amount of money. We did $50 but we never did have anyone win it either. And we made quite a bit every game.

- Check with your school and see if you cant serve a hot breakfast at your school, if they dont already do that and charge a set price for that, for example have biscuts and gravy.

- Sell Roses for valentines day...go through a local flower shop and get all the information and everything and then get orders about a week to two weeks before valentines day and then you can always get a profit off of it. I think we charged $5 for a rose with a personalized note.

- Do a penny a vote for something off the wall. For example one time we talked to a few of our teachers and faculity and got a few of them to agree to do a penny a vote to see who would have to kiss a pig. Its easy and doesnt cost anything, and just whoever has the most money in their can then thats who would win. Its easy and kind of fun too!

- You could also do a penny a vote to see who gets to be queen and king. We did this at our barnwarming dances and we have made upwards of $1000 in a dance and I come from a school of about 90 people.

Hope these help you out!

There are some candy companies like Nestle and Hersheys that sell you candy to sell as a fundraiser. Try them or other companies along that theme.
