Etc.plus about 100000 private contractors for rebuilding and security will surely like that war continues for ever.When will some onein power say "Enough is Enough" for the sake of America and Mankind.Here is a note from Late pres.Eisenhower speech for you to read.

Sadly it seems most Americans don't see.... or can't bring themselves to see.... that our service men and women are fighting and dying because of the almighty dollar!

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, even Tony Blair and others have a financial interest in businesses that will profit from Iraq.

I hope people like you and I continually asking these questions will push other Americans to ask why.....!!

because most people cant see the wood for the trees,answer to your first part,as to the second part the same people who are in a position to actual have a voice are the major share holders in the company's mentioned (and a lot you haven't) until there is a sea change to how people are elected we will continue to suffer there greed.
