defect- there are two meanings here, which one do you want

I sent the shipment back bacause of the defect that rendered it useless to me. or

The troops defected when the bombs began to shower so heavily they had no cover.

It causes me great anguish to see an anal retentive idiot with an obvious mental defect try to get the answers to their homework on Answers.
