I think any color that you find really nice is always "in". I don't follow anyone's trend except my own. I think black nail polish is a nice color to wear no matter what year it is. I think it's a unique color to wear.

Black nail polish is DEFINITELY in right now. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and even the usually uber-conservative but currently scandalized Miss USA was spotted wearing onyx nails in a recent press conference!
Go with the color, just make sure your nails aren't long claws. Keep them on the shorter side.

Yes black nail polish is In right now along with dark colours close to black (dark plum, navy, dark brown, ect.) && I agree with AngelBunny...I don't think it will ever go out of style completly, plus it doesn't really matter if it does, if you enjoy wearing it than wear it!

Yep, its in right now. There's really no way to tell how long it will be in style, though. It's considered sort of punk and an interesting contrast to elegant or feminine pieces. If you didn't want to go black, you can do dark colors, such as red or purple and still get the same effect.

Yes. Dark blue, dark purple, dark red/burgundy, and black are all in.
I personally am not that big of a fan of the dark, dark nail polish colors. I always use red, hot pink, or french.

in my opinion, i imagine that black nail polish on lengthy nails looks " undesirable " on lengthy nails. The length of the nails will in effortless words pronounce the black nail polish. The longer the nails, the added that are important. So,with black nail polish, it in simple terms isn't pleasing. Nails that are medium length will be polished with almost any coloration. yet, for some reason, lengthy black nails are literally not appealing. in simple terms an opinion. My daughter loves black nail polish yet, her nails are especially short to medium length. For regardless of reason, lengthy black nails are in simple terms not " in ".

TOTALLY! all the dark colors! purple, navy, brown! you can wear black with anything, no matter how girly or preppy, sophisticated or casual. You'll love it! Just don't paint both the nails and toe nails at the same time, its one or the other.

Yes it is totally in right now as well as dark purple. It will probably last for a few more months, I would guess, and then brighter colors will be in for spring.

Rumor is, it is. I totally wouldn't wear it though, i'm preppy, so my nails are usually light....I mean it doesn't look bad, but i' not crazy about it. You should try it!

I guess it depends on how old you are and your style. Id say if your comfortable wearing it go for it...confidence is your best asset
