First of all you should go to the doctor. There is a possibility that you can be pregnant and still have your period, but it sounds to me like something is not right. You might be having a miscarriage. Don't risk it and find out exactly what is going on with a professional.

You are probably miscarrying. People miscarry usually when they would normally get their period. Alot of people do not take a pregnancy test when they do get their period so they don't notice that it is actually a miscarriage. They catch it later when they know that they are pregnant (missed period and positive pregnancy test) and then they bleed at the two or three month mark. The other possibility is that you are pregnant, but have something on your uterus (like a polyp) causing a bleed.

If you got a positive pregnancy test, and then you had a period, you need to go to the doctor. It's not normal for most people to have bleeding while pregnant. You could have had a miscarriage, or you could just be pregnant with spotting. Either way, you need to make sure everything's right with your body.

you can have your period and be pregnant, why not go to the doctor instead of buying home pregnancy test, dr office will do blood work and make sure your count is in the right level. i would go asap, so they know everything that is going on and can check things out as well

if you go to the doctor or nurse, they will give you a blood test rather than a pregnancy test which will tell you for sure!
