many go because they are asked to. americans tend to have a pretty good handle on their own language, and can therefore explain it and teach it better than the average japanese teacher.

its sort of like the game "telephone". in that game, by the time the message is whispered 3 or 4 people down the line, its not even the same message anymore. it works the same way with languages... if you have someone who speaks english naturally in america, and they teach someone in japan how to speak it, the person in japan will be able to speak english, but the accent would be off slightly, and there might be some small flaws in the translation. but then if that person tries to teach more japanese, the accent grows, and the errors are more prevailant.

True, employment in the U.S. is getting difficult but also, many Japanese have moved into the U.S. who can't speak English & it's beneficial that American teachers are teaching English in Japan so, in the future, Japanese imigrants & Americans will be able to communicate better.

First, the Japanese want English speakers to come to Japan, otherwise they wouldn't hire Americans. So mainly it's because the Japanese want them there so they can learn English.

Also, some people want to learn about a different culture and language and also see a different part of the world that is otherwise very expensive to travel to.

Because Japan companies want American $$, so they want their employees proficient in English and some pay very good $$.
Many people in America already speak English, so not so much demand for English teachers here.

The Americans come there to help the Japanese learn English. That's it....they are there to teach.

By the way, your question is not in proper English. Maybe another reason Americans are on the way.

How come = why?
