So i have this plan...for over the summer. My friends and i were talking about how much we missed our childhood. And i came up with this idea to play all these kids games over the summer at a local park.

-My plan is to play: Capture the flag - both teams are going to have different colored shirts on right..and instead of tagging people...we would use paint. Fill water balloons and such with paint....and that would show if you got tagged.

-We were also going to play 4-square, parachute, tug of war, a big game of basketball and dodge ball.-

--i haven't really told my friends about this yet....
I'm kind-of embarrassed and feel they might think it's stupid. If you were 18 and a freshman in college would you think this was a stupid idea? Do you think it's a stupid idea? Tell me what you think before i go and tell them....about it

I think its a great idea though I would use water-colors instead of paint....much easier to wash off. The main point is you guys just started college and probably have to get the hang of a lot of new stuff. It might unstress your friends to just talk about the days when u didn't have alot if worries ( besides how to get more more cookies and candy), basically just reverting back to kids might just be the thing to convince all of u guys that life is pretty much still the same as the good ole days, just with abit more responsibilities and they still can count on their childhood buddies. Have a blast u guys

It actually sounds like a lot of fun, I would definately like the capture the flag, basketball and dodge ball...I am not so sure about the 4-square and parachute. Those don't sound like things that my friends would be very interested in...but the other things sound pretty cool and like a cool fun idea for a Saturday!

Good luck and I hope that your day of games is fun!!

I think it's a great idea!
I used to live in NYC and my friends and I would go every few weeks to play at the playgrounds in Central Park during the spring and summer. We used to love playing Follow the Leader.
I think that's a fun idea! If I was one of your friends, I would definitely be in on that!

Sounds like fun! Tell your friends the idea as a joke and see how they react if they like the idea then maybe you'll do it and if not no hard feelings or embarrassment because they think its a joke. But you wouldn't want to? It seems like a great way to relax and have some fun after a bunch of test!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bro, I'm 27 and I'd STILL think that's an awesome plan. :-)

When I was 18 we used to find a plot of woods and play Manhunt with like 20 people at 2am, drunk as skunks. Good times.

I'm 25, still in college (or in college again) and I'd love that sort of thing, but I'm a little different that way, so unless your friends are pretty fun lovin' kids at heart types, it probably won't work, but I don't think that should keep you from trying!

I think it sounds like fun and not a stupid idea. Who wouldn't want to be young again and have no troubles or care in the world? I am 22 and still watch the Disney channel and Care Bears! :)

Sounds like something to do to let steam out after finals are over. It is probaly better after finals then at some arbitrary date when you are going to be more subdued.
