Graham Poll he seems to make some very high profile mistakes and some times makes some dubious calls more than any other referee. This is a professional job in a high stakes industry where millions of pounds and peoples jobs are at stake. His predisposition to poor performances is bound to infuriate passionate supporters and managers. But having said that being a referee is a difficult job and no matter what you decide and which way a decision goes someone somewhere will not be happy. Especially if the TV camera says differently.

i hate graham poll so much.
Every game hes refs he seems to make itleast 1 fu*k up which changes the match.
Man U vs Southend, the free kick wasnt even a free kick, the one the gamr for it.
Tottenham vs Arsenal (2:3) Missed blatent ofside, (Second goal) Chimbonda won the ball fair and square( 1st pen)
Despite going down without a touch, Van percie was offside, hand balled the ball in mid air, then dived, how does a ref miss this? and even worse how does he give him a penelty.
All in all, those are just the last games i watched with him as the ref which i can remember, all i know is hes useless and he should be handing out the peanuts.

Well he is a very poor ref for starters and believes the paying public come to see him not the players and add those two FACTS to the FACT he cant count to TWO as proven in the World Cup and you may begin to understand why everyone dislikes Poll ? But then i reckon you already knew the answer before asking it or you've never watched a football match with Poll as the ref ?

He's a drama queen that wants to get noticed and become famous, infamous actually. The mark of a good ref is keep the card in his pocket if possible and have control of the game. That doesn't mean that a ref is bad having sent off players who deserve it like Robbie Savage, go get him Graham.

Because Graham Poll is a ******* **** of a referee, who think that people pay good moneuy to go and see him **** up a game by sending someone off, he also think the TV is there just for him, he is a useless referee, who on the biggest footballing stage of all, gave some no mark 3 yellows cards in the World Cup Finals before deciding to send him off.
Well Poll, why don't you just **** off.

Because he's the most famous referee and seemingly nobody likes Graham Poll therefore he gets a lot of hate.
In reality he is still on the top tier of English referees but people in general don't like to admit that.

People see him as incompetent because he is meant to be a professional referee, but he booked the same player 3 times in the same match during the world cup. Not very professional!!

He is an attention seeker who thinks the game is about him and not the 2 teams playing. Every game he is in charge of has a contentious decision or two, which he knows will be talked about afterwards and thus keeps him in the spotlight.

Because he makes shocking mistakes! Although it is only natural for those mistakes to be made he is a professional (I use that term loosely) and so should expect to come under criticism.
