well.. i just got this player in the mail about 4 days ago and its already giving me problems. normally i am a HUGE fan of sandisk; i have bought things from them before, but i am so stumped on this one.

my problem is, i loaded an album on it. then when i unplugged the player to check and make sure everything got loaded okay, the player tells me that this particular album, every song, is a "bad track" . so in an attempt to fix this i deleted every song i had on it. on the computer it tells me the player is empty. okay, so i unplugged it and again made sure everything was okay... but no. the songs on this album are STILL there! i plugged it into the computer again.. and the folder is EMPTY.

Does anyone know how i would go about deleting these songs???

i contacted sandisk costumer service... but i haven't got any response... and i need help :(

thanks.

I'm stumped.
As a last resort you could always reformat it and start over. Put the sansa player in MSC mode. Settings>USBmode>MSC. Connect it to PC. The computer will recognize it as a another drive. Right click on the drive icon for your player and select "Format". That will wipe it clean, just like formatting a hard drive.

i attempted doing the comparable element on my 2gb sansa, i gave up, i think of it purely works on archives which you purchase or get with the rhapsody track participant, throught the perfect purchase track supervisor or in spite of its called.
