I'm tired of wearing dark eyeshadow colors for winter. What colors are good for spring??
I'm burnette.

You dont have to wear drak eyeshadow in winter! My favourites for winter are LIGHT blues, lilac, things in that colour area.
Also, on brunettes (like you and I) gold and bronzes are always nice year round.
For spring, try wearing a nice light bronze over your entire lid, with a nice moss green over the bottom half of your lid...
I don't have time on here to give you too many tips, so here is a website I really like... good luck!
PS- MAC is an AWESOME brand of makeup, really high quality pigments... ALSO for blush, try cream or gel blush, it looks mroe natural. :) ALWAYS curl your lashes, it will make your eyes appear brighter and more awake. Curl before putting on mascara. And to set your mascara, use clear mascara over it. Clear mascara is also good to set your eyebrows in place.
Try being creative with your eyeshadow- use a dry brush, a wet brush, different shapes and cuts of brush... spend some time with a mirror creating new looks, you might find one you really like... and invest in a GOOD set of makeup brushes- they make all the difference in the world! If you're on a budget, check out the -elf- site below for brushes... :)

This color business for spring, fall and winter is all marketing propaganda so they can change the product and have you buy more. They don't want you to find a beautiful, natural face because they'd be out of business. I choose shadows that make me look good. There is no season for your face. What a bunch of hooey! If you want to dramatize your look in accordance with your outfit, perhaps, eyeshadow color could help, but really, think about it, what's all this color all about? If your eyes are blue, just a touch of fresh neutrals is all you need to bring them out like peach, or gold or bright beige. This dark stuff is so over-rated. We don't look better with too much dark. I look at some girls' eye makeup and I think, did they really look in the mirror? Some dark liners and shadows can really make a person look old and haggard. Like the under eye circles are on ly accented by lots of dark liner. Try to choose your look mindful that you are not just layering on a pile of crap that accents nothing but the other guy's pocket book! We need to be intelligent and honest with ourselves. Yes, we look better with some makeup but all this color here and there business, you can fast look like a clown. Makeup should enhance without being evident how much of it is really there. Too many women just slap it on because we feel it's our job in life. Step back and really look at you and you'll soon discover you were duped into thinking you needed half of what you used to use. I used to wear so much eyeshadow that I am shocked now when I look back at myself. Was I possessed? I think so. My boyfriend, who is now my husband, is so pleased with the cut back. Men don't like too much contrary to popular opinion. They want to see your real beauty. Enhance but don't hide yourself!

Brunette..

I would try using like lime green and lavander,
have fun with it and expierience different fun and
flirty shades! I would just go to the mac counter and
tell them "i was wondering if you have any ideas on what
lighter eyeshadows would look good on me" They will
probably recomend some diff shades.
