i'm a sophomore in high school, and i'm wondering what it's like.

College is what you make of it. It can just like high school, which shows you that no matter how smart you are, it's WHO you KNOW that counts. Whether you agree or not, that's what really matters after college when you hit the workplace. It's not WHAT you KNOW, it's WHO you KNOW. The caveat to this is, once you get your foot in the door, you better know what the hail you're talking about. At that point, your intelligence and practical application of said intelligence will push you to greater heights.
College is fun, college is scary. Rely on yourself to make good decisions and to use a Marine saying on success, think one rank below you and one rank above you. In the civilian setting, what would a high school graduate want out of college, and what would a prospective employer want out of YOUR college experience so they can capitalize on your success?

It's both. There's a lot of independence, but you meet new people and friends. You can schedule classes around naps and eat whenever. But you have to study hard, some professors are strict. You never know if you'll have night classes or just a 50 minute class a day.

You're more free in college but it requires you to be a lot more responsible. There are loads of work to do, lots of terror professors to encounter along the way but if you know how to manage your time and balance academic lide and social life then it's going to be a fun ride!

it's fun but it's all hard and u can't slack and skip classes cuz they won't call u or ur parents and u'll fall behind and flunk out... u really have to be focused know when to have fun and when to be serious
