regnancy question kinda lame but need input?
I had sex with a guy on Aug 2nd 2006 , I have had 6 regular periods since and even too a HPT in Sept 2006, I have not gained weight or felt sick.
Is it safe to quit worrying about being pregnant.
BTW I got a divorce in July and slept with a guy I know and I might be just having problems with my own self because I was with the same guy for 20 years till now. Also I had my tubes tied 18 years ago I really doubt I could get pregnant but want reassurance, so whats the deal am I starting to have a worrying problem or is this some kind of mid life, or a personal issue I have with myself beacuse of a divorce and being intimate with someone else after 20 years with the same man? Also is it pretty safe to say I am not pregnant?

Tied tubes and 6 regular periods since your last sexual activity? Yes, you can quit worrying about being pregnant, and start focusing on the other circumstances in your life that are causing you to worry. It seems like you have a lot going on in your life right now and it is getting a little overwhelming. Just take it day by day and start working your way through it. Talk to friends, and don't be shy about seeking counseling if nothing else is working.

Yes, I think it's safe to say you are not pregnant. If you were, you would have many, many other symptoms by now as you would be approximately 5 months pregnant. If it will ease your mind, take another test but it is probably no necessary...especially because you had your tubes tied.
Sounds like you are having a little anxiety problem. When that happens, your brain can ignore what is really bothering you and cause you to obsess about something else (i.e. being pregnant or worried about your health in some other way) because you're just not ready to deal with the real issue.
Given your recent divorce and changes in your life, it is understandable you feel this way. When you are able to recognize and work through what is actually bothering you, this will pass. If it becomes bothersome, talk with a therapist, it can only help.

That, my dear, is a super-duper, king-sized bucket of paranoia!!! WOW. I mean, you've had a tubal, you've had SIX periods, and you're still worried about being pregnant? YIKES.
For your own sake and sanity, next time you have sex, use a condom. Even though you can't get pregnant (all things considered) there are a LOT of nasty germs running around in the world today, and if you've only been with one guy for 20 years, do you REALLY want to mess things up your first time out of the gate??
You might also want to consider seeing a therapist for a little bit. While I'm not saying there's anything wrong with you, this level of paranoia and the obvious lack of self-esteem really should be addressed.
Good luck.

You aren't pregnant. I wouldnt worry about that at all. I just think you are having some kind of problems with the fact that you are with a different guy after so long of being married.

Go to the store, and buy a pregancy kit so you have the answers you need. Then look for a support group for divorced people..usually churches have them..or call your local mental health dept. to see if they can advise you on where to go to get over this painful spot in your life.
Be safe, use protection..it will save your life.

I think you can stop worrying about being pregnant. Sounds like you might need to see a counselor about emotional issues resulting from your divorce.

I would say without a doubt that you are NOT pregnant. WTF, you have had a period (first sign that you are not pregnant, and you have had 6 !!),a negative pregnancy test and have had your tubes tied - What on earth makes you think you are pregnant. By the way, are you blond?
