Before you spend a ton of money on other products try some old fashion vinigar.
Wash the walls: Add 1/2-1 cups of vinigar to 1 gallon of water dip a rag or sponge in the mixture squeeze out the excess and use to clean the walls
Rugs/carpet: Use instead of detergent in a steam cleaner (I think thats what they are) follow manufacturers directions.
Air freshener: pour a small amount in a small bowl and place in a hidden but open place i.e. behind the sofa or plant

Febreeze air freshner and fabric freshner. For the walls, you may need to clean with 409 and water to get the nicotine tar off the walls that is causing the oder. As for carpet, take it out and get a new one.
