Sometimes I wonder why most women don't make clothing today. It is really sad. I like custom made clothes, tailored to fit me. I think every wife and mother should do that for their husband and children. Plus it is fun for them and their daughters because they get to design them.

I'm glad you like a custom fit... you know sewing isn't so hard that men can't learn it as well....

What age are you living in... You expect women to work, tidy the house, make dinner ... AND make clothing? Besides, my husband will not like walking around in a dress two sizes to small or big... in a lovely shade of pink (or whatever was on sale)... that is all I can make!

Because shoes are cute and make our feet look and feel sexy. A word of advice: don't try to figure us out, ok? Just leave us with our shoes and hair, and we'll leave you with your remote and beer!

It probably is a nice thing to be able to make one's own clothing. But people are working, they do not have time for such things. But, again, you have no idea of what might or might not be fun for me.

I just have to ask, did your mother sew you and your dad's clothing? If so, did she thouroughly enjoy it without any complaints? Was she a stay-at-home mom or did she work outside of the home also?

you are slightly more civil these days. where does that come from? do you accept answers from women? or do you just disregard them. You know, that whole, speak when spoken to thing. Maybe you should ask a question about that.

I tried to make a shirt once and pricked my fingers many times. At least I can make scarves, right?
