Pregnancy question kinda lame but need input?

I had sex with a guy on Aug 2nd 2006 , I have had 6 regular periods since and even too a HPT in Sept 2006, I have not gained weight or felt sick.

Is it safe to quit worrying about being pregnant.

BTW I got a divorce in July and slept with a guy I know and I might be just having problems with my own self because I was with the same guy for 20 years till now. Also I had my tubes tied 18 years ago I really doubt I could get pregnant but want reassurance, so whats the deal am I starting to have a worrying problem or is this some kind of mid life, or a personal issue I have with myself beacuse of a divorce and being intimate with someone else after 20 years with the same man? Also is it pretty safe to say I am not pregnant?

There is a pregnancy category here and some of the posters there are medical folks...but I doubt you have anything to worry about at this point...if you are unsure, see your doctor.

If you were pregnant, you would be 5 months pregnant by now and would definitely know it! Have you taken a pregnancy test at home or doctor? That would go a long way to ease your mind. If you don't want to go to the doctor, just get a home preg. test. They are really accurate. Oh, I just read in your question, that you did a HPT, ok. Well, I think you answered your own question, but want reassurance, right! I would say it's a safe bet that you're not pregnant, if you've not had unprotected sex lately. Be safe and you won't have these worries!!!

You are not pregnant! If you have had 6 regular periods you are fine. You need to quit stressing out over that fact because stress can also cause you to not have a period. I had my tubes tied for years and never got pregnant! I have not had to worry about getting pregnant! I know that you are stressed because it was the first time you had sex with someone else in 20 years and hey that happens to all of us that have benn in a long relationship. If you are still truly stressed about it get a pregnancy test and put your mind at ease.

The only way to be certain is to get tested. I know a woman that has had 2 children after having her tubes tied. And I also know a woman that had her period every month during her entire pregnancy. I had my period for two months into my pregnancy and my mother had her period for 4 months into her pregnancy with my brother. So it is possible to have your period while pregnant and it is possible to have kids after having your tubes tied. Good Luck!

I think that it is pretty safe to say that you are not pregnant....and about being intimate with someone else after being married for so long...of course you are probably just feeling guilty because you have been with someone for so long and having to start all over. That really takes a toll on someone

how long has it been since you had your last period? you might not be pregnant but getting your tubes tied doens't guarantee you won't get pregnant again. If i wer you i'd get checked by a doctor and see what happens from there - if you had a total hysterectomy that's why you;re period isn't here because that keeps your period from coming again but if you had your tubes tied only- you shoul still have your periods but- are you regular? have you eve had a irregular period? that's probably where the problem lays.

I can confidantly say, you are NOT pregnant. To reassure yourself, get a test, but if you have had your tubes tied, have had periods normally and have gained no weight, you are seriously unlikely to be growing anything in there.
It's all in your head honey, bit of guilt or something, but your single now, you deserve a bit of fun! Go out there and get some!

Your tubes are tied...you CAN'T get pregnant. You have normal periods. You are NOT pregnant. What a freak. Sounds like you WANT to be pregnant though.

I know of women who have gotten pregnant with their tubes tied along with a guy who was fixed. I have also heard of women being pregnant and still having periods. I would say that you are safe. Generally a period removes all eggs firtalized or not. If you have had more than one period then you are fine.
