It's about counting magpies and there are several versions, the most complete version I found has two verses.

One for sorrow,
Two for joy.
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy.
Five for silver,
Six for gold.
Seven for a secret,
Never to be told.'

********

'One means anger,
Two brings mirth.
Three a wedding,
Four a birth.
Five is heaven,
Six is hell.
But seven's the very Devil's ain sell.'

There is another one though: -

One for Sorrow
Two for Mirth
Three for a Wedding
Four for a birth
Five for a Christening
Six for a dearth
Seven for heaven
Eight for Hell
Nine for the devil his ain sell

Though I have also heard that
Five is for a letter
