Someone just made my day with a quaint little gesture,, wasn't necessary (we barely know each other,,,) Still, it was done by hand and meant such a lot... Happens rarely these days,,,, did someone do something nice for you today?? (Hope so)

My!! ,,,, I am so overwhelmed by that response,,,
On posting,,, in just six minutes,,29 yahooers could say that someone did something nice for them ,jodeleideedoo!!!!,,,
I'm keeping this open for as long as I can,,, sometimes it's only too easy to dwell on the "negative flotsam, jetsam", that happens in our day,,,,,

yep, my husband went and got me a lighter on his way to meet me in the pub as he had noticed I had left mine at home, even though he hates me smoking. Just a tiny thing, but it really was sweet to me.

Not today, but I also haven't left the house. Though recently I enjoy sharing a smile with a total strangers don't know why but it really makes me feel good.

i was pretty upset when i got to school today, and not to mention i have a terrible cold, and my friend went to the bathroom and got me some tissues.... and tried to cheer me up, not that it worked entirely... so i guess someone did something nice for me today! Maybe people do nice things all the time, we just dont recognise or appreciate them...

My hubby ran me a nice hot bath, lit some candles and made tea, hes worked all day too, hes a pure angel that man.

On my way walking to work, I passed this little old man who greeted me cheerfully with a big smile and wished me a good day... suffice to say, i smiled all the way to work and had a great day.... oh!what a smile does to the heart!

No but i did something nice for someone else. I went out of my way to help a lady get more info on weight watchers. It just felt good to help her out..its always a good feeling to do something for another person. :)

Yes. My boss is paying me for an extra hour today because I was one of the few that drove in today. ( we had an ice storm over the weekend, so the roads are pretty nasty)

yes a bloke gave me his parking ticket as it had 2 hours and 15 minutes left on it. He smiled and said have a nice day and enjoy your shopping in the town...I did......
