Didnt they see what happened to Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, the Rams, etc..... when those teams did the same thing? Consider it a lesson learned I guess.

To people saying the Pats were disrespectful after the game.......
The Pats punked em at the end because of the way San Diego acted all week.

When your overconfident and cocky like that, no good will come of it. I've seen it happen to many times. And when you underestimate a proven team (even though I dislike the pats), your going to get put in place.
Stupidity is probably why they acted disrespectfully all week.

It comes from the coach. The Pats coaches tell the players that they are not to give the other team fodder, and they don't. Why other teams keep their traps yapping I will never understand. It makes no sense at all to talk trash unless you're psychic and know for a fact that the Pats are going to lose.
(Though, I bet that Coach B could even make a Psychic wrong... :D)

Well they are new to all of this playoff stuff and their coach has a 5-13 playoff record for a reason. Winning is more about dances and stats and being #1 on offense. It is about poise and teamwork and doing smart things when u intercept a pass. Patriots have all these smarts; Chargers do not

Well the Patriots were pretty disrespectful when they did the "lights out" dance on the Chargers midfield logo - the Chargers will win it all next year now

Because most professional athletes have an ego unlike anything you have ever seen before. SOME don't, but most do.
You think Tom Brady is never disrespectful? Think again, he was rude to some Jets fans (who I'm not very fond of either) just last week.
Look at Vick flipping off his OWN fans. How tasteless is that?
They just don't care.. I don't know how else to say it.
