I heard about it on the radio this afternoon. How horrible? Apparently, this lady died of water intoxication. I guess too much of one thing is never good for you...
My condolences to her friends and family. such an unexpected and tragic death.. could have been avoided.

Yes, it made headline news yesterday. How sad is that!! I can't believe that the radio station that hosted that "contest" didn't do more research before pulling a stunt like that. I have known for years that if you over indulge in anything, it can be potentially fatal. Drinking to much water basically fluids your system and your body can't get rid of it fast enough. That radio station should have to pay for her death and the cost of what it will cost to raise her three sons now that she is gone. What a shame!!

It was acontest to see who could drink the most water without getting up to go wee. She actually died of water "intoxication."

My opinion is that the radio station who sponsored that contest is going to be paying the woman's family millions of dollars.

Yep its true, and I doubt suing the radio station will do any good. No one foced that lady to drink that half gallon of water. It's quite sad really, but also really stupid.
