Well based on his looks he really looks like a standard spaniard, there are a lot of comments about this but maybe he is the one who knows the answer to your question.

Look at Salvador Dalí and Picasso, the all are good artists coming from spain and creative, I say this because Salvador looks like a standard spaniard also and they ressemble one another.

I think his last name is not a point here (they say he was adopted) but the looks, judge it for yourself.

No, he was born in Chicago and lived in Missouri as a kid. His father was from Ireland but there is nothing about Spain to my knowledge
