I think everyone wants to see this game again even though New York got spanked by 23 las time. Would we be watching the NBA or the UFC?

No, its not. Every team in the East plays every team in the West, once at home and once away. Then, in the divisions, each team plays all of the four others four times, two at home and two away. So, lets use a Nuggets calendar. They play each east team twice. 15x2=30. Theres 30 games for them. They play the other four teams in their division (Twolves, Jazz, Sonics, Blazers) four times. 4x4=16. 30+16=46. 82-46=36 (how many games remain). The Nuggets though have ten more teams to play in the West thats not in their division (Spurs, Hornets, Rockets, Grizzlies, Mavs, Suns, Lakers, Clippers, Kings, and the Warriors). Thats up to the league to decide how much the Nuggets play against those teams. They will ultimately play 6 of those teams 4 times and 4 three times. 6x4=24 and 4x3=12. This changes every year though. 24+12=36. And thats how each team plays.
Besides, the Knicks already played at the Nuggets and won earlier in the year.

Well, no not really. Even if the nuggets played the knicks again, we know the constant: the knicks are just flat out abysmal. Their defense is the worst. When they played the iverson-less nuggets, they gave up tons of points. Imagine how many the nuggets would score if they played again? And to make matter worse, what if the game is after jan 22 (the day when carmelo's suspension is over.) Enough said.
