I am home schooled and have been for ten years (since kindergarten.)
In my opinion, Homeschooling is the best way to go.
As far as socialization goes, In public and private school's, you are put into a classroom with children the same age and grade as you.
In the real world when you get a job, you will not be given a job with all people the same age as you.
You will be with people of different ages, yet public and private schooled children will not have experience in that.
School is not a place to socialize, it is a place for learning, so you will get somewhere in life. Now meeting friend's along the way is wonderful. Changing friend's every week, that's not what you call normal.
Now don't get me wrong, In no way am I saying that all home schooled children are better.
Some people would love to home school but they cannot afford it.
I socialize everyday.
Not only do I socialize with people my own age but I also do with people from the ages 1-100.
So if any particular "schooling" is better socialization-it is homeschooling.
Now who gets the best education?
That depends on who is teaching, and how they teach.
Our fore father's were home schooled.
In the 1800's all children no matter what age were placed in a one room schoolhouse.

I personally know several homeschooled kids. They're all bright, well adjusted kids, from grade school through high school. They're all very active in community activities and have lots of friends. Two of the kids I've known for several years have been accepted to go on a two year mission trip to South America. I think that homeschooling offers a more personal and intense educaiton than any other kind. It's not crowed, and because only your own kids are involved, you only need about four hours a day for a full day's curriculum. Homeschoolers find ways to get more out of their education, and go on many field trips. They sometimes find other homeschoolers and do a cooperative meeting for special activities, such as learning knitting, simple carpentry, cooking and other such activities. I've heard some people say (mostly teachers from public school) that homeschooled kids don't socialize well, and that's just not true. They have a more extensive social life than their public school counterparts. While it is true that not every parent is doing homeschool correctly, they aren't part of the majority. From what I've seen, homeschooling offers more education than public school, without all the other distractions from disruptive kids, peer pressure, and negativity from students as well as some of the teachers. You don't have to have a college education to teach your kids at home. Most of the homeschool parents I know only graduated from high school. They just have a deep desire to give their kids more than what public school offers. As for private school, I can't offer any opinions because I don't know anyone who has had that opportunity in their lives. <*)))><

A homeschooled kid will be less social. They will have problems getting along in a job because they never had to learn that a lot of people are idiots. Private schol is expensive, but not a bad move. They may get more attention from teachers and mentors. It would be good to go to a religious Private school if you are religious. Public school is convient, but some of the teacher's don't care about education in high school. They act like babysitters.
If I were you, do public school until highschool, then go private.

If the parents have the time and will for it,I'd say homeschooling.Everyone always talks about socialization when kids are homeschooled, but what most people don't realize(or don't think of) ,is that school is an artificial environment. What other period of your life do you spend everday with people the same age as you?Homeschooled children learn to talk to people of all ages. Many start their own businesses. When you are homeschooled you get to learn about life. Many colleges and universities actively seek homeschooled students because they are so academically advanced.
Albert Einstein,Agatha Christie,Winston Churchill,Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Graham Bell were all homeschooled.

i dont think homeschool is a good idea because it does not give your child a good opportunity to learn basic social skills or make friends. they dont get to go to dances or date. a lot of people i know that were homeschooled have very poor social skills and find it hard to make friends.
private school i believe is the best option. it takes away a lot of the distractions that public schools have. you get to wear a uniform which can take away from the pressure of who is wearing what or who has the most popular fashions on. also if they go to an all boys/girls school they can focus more on school work and less on the opposite sex
public schools are better than being homeschooled but i think a lot of them have more violence, more problems and more drama than private school. i attended public school but if my parents could have afforded private school i would have loved to go.

As in anything, there are variables. A trained teacher would probably provide a wonderful "home school" situation. Some private schools lack funding and trained staff for special needs students. Each public school is different; there are bad, good, better, and best.

Public school is the best cuz its free and doesn't have many rich snobs like private school. As for homeschool, the kids miss out on socializing.

I feel public institution might be smarter. I imply, if you are homeschooled, you may also now not have as a lot peers and the individual who homeschools you may also now not realize the whole thing approximately the whole thing. People that cross to individual institution, is also relatively wise, too. They more often than not obtained taken out of public institution and went to a individual institution since they had been relatively wise. I realize anyone that, that occurred to.

It totally depends on the age of the kids and the quality of the options available to you. I live in an area that has really good public schools, so it's the clear choice for my kids. I know people who homeschool their children, and the kids don't get the same type of socolization that kids who are in school get,but they do get exposed to their parent's faith.
Public school is the right place for my kids, but it depends.

In my opinion I go to a Private school and so far its pretty good there but I hate the homework but sometimes its fun & i love my friends.
Public School is also cool but theres alot of stoners & brohoes(people who take drugs) But there lucky they have alot of No school days and breaks.
HomeSshool to me is like having no friends at a school but its a house and people teach you privately at home & really dont know that much about it I pefer Private School.
