Key West is a cool place to visit. I took a cruise ship that stopped there for the day, but we had to leave before sun set. Key West doesn't allow the cruise ships to stay because they block the sunset over the ocean, that is something I'd like to see.

It's definately worth the trip but it's around 400 miles south of Orlando, so you'll need a couple of days to make the trip and spend a few nights there. Key West is only 90 miles from cuba so it's alot more south than most people realize.

Yes, Key West is beautiful and the drive from Miami to there through the rest of the Keys is stunning.
You will go over The Seven Mile Bridge, breathtaking.......

For a complete change of scenery from Orlando (no Theme Parks), most definitely.
Key West has a Caribbean feel to it.

I love Key West, its eclectic, fun and so different from the rest of Florida, definitely worth the trip I'd say!
