Crime is a big issue, but it needs to be stopped at the source and not a the base with the petty drug dealers that stand on the corner. The biggest problem is the fact that children in this country are getting fatter and dumber every day, and there has been nothing done to reform education.

Yes, starting at the top. Malfeasance in elected office, the legal profession, law enforcement, and by corporate officers should be much more rigorously punished than other crimes. One meth user does much less damage to society than a corrupt-lying-weasel politician. First offense for possession of meth/coke/whatever - 1 month in jail. First offense for a politician taking a bribe - 5 years in the same prison and loss of any retirement benefits.
