If I have an iPod, what are the ways I can get songs? Can I upload songs from my CDs onto it? And am I only allowed to use iMusic (or whatever it is ) to get songs...could I use downloaded songs from other sites?

If you're going to download, use LimeWire, if you're not going to use iTunes Music Store. You can also burn CD's onto your iPod.

In LimeWire, you just have to drag your Saved Files Playlist into your iTunes library, and voila!

But yes, to get songs onto your Ipod you will ultimitely have to use iTunes. You just don't hve to download or buy the songs there.

put a CD of yours into your computer. burn it and put the files in a music folder. do the same for all the CD's you want on your Ipod. make it neat and organized. then download itunes, put all your onto that by selecting all the music you want on there and drag it onto itunes, plug in you ipod and foloow the setup steps then enjoy your music
