Nope the 1998 Vikings (15-1) had the biggest choke in the playoffs during that year's NFC championship game. With a seven point lead and less than three minutes to go, the Vikings are set up to try a 42 yard field goal, which should be automatic from kicker Gary Anderson who was perfect on the season. The Vikings miss the field goal, allow the Falcons to score and then lose on a field goal in overtime.

Nope, that award still belongs to the New York Yankees. Sure, not the same sport, but in 2004, their choke was much much worse than the Charger's choke. At least the Chargers only lost by 3 points, and it was a hard fought game. The Yanks... they shoulda had a sweep and didn't....
