off the top of my head, it sounds like a yeast infection, which is very common. i know you don't want to hear this, but the doc will be able to diagnose it better in person... people online can't really know from a description.

just keep the area clean & dry, no tight underwear or pants or tights... and underwear should be 100% cotton. (these are staples for most any female genital irritation.)

try to relax & distract yourself in the meantime, until your appt. good luck, girl! i think you'll be fine. :)

it sounds like a yeast infection or an std. wash the area in a very gentle way. and wear cotton panties - no thong or anything that could cause more irritation. if it starts to hurt, wet a washcloth with cold water and hold it up to the infected area. it will help. watch soap, shampoo, etc getting in that area, too.

Probably just a yeast infection - if you have never had one before, confirm it with your Dr. There are over the counter remedies fror yeast infections, but like I said, if it is your first one, confirm with your Dr. Yeast infec are nothing serious, but they sure are uncomfortable.

i don't know your sex life but it could be a STD, or maybe something else i would go to the OBGYN to check it out, you don't want to risk it
