We need a little more information if you are talking about a specific school.

If you mean when did the first schools start, the ancient Greeks and Romans had schools for the wealthy. It was only in the later part of the 20th century, really after the depression, that people who were not wealthy could easily attend school through high school and beyond.

there is more than one school?

schooling is more than over 300 years old..if thats what you mean
