I lost the padding for one shoe - what could I use instead? Its hard for me to get to a dance store, what could I put inside of my shoe that will work the same as lambs wool or an ouch pouch?

I've seen people use only paper towel to pad their toes...but if you're anything like me that isn't enough! I would suggest cotton balls until you find a better solution...good luck!

I am a dancer and a dance teacher and I would suggest going on line to one of the dance supply shops like discount dance supply and or just for kix and order a couple a packages of ouch pouches and maybe a box of lambs wool. That way if you misplace or loose them next time you have back up. I have also heard of using paper towels but I really am unsure of that idea. I would just supply myself with more than one pair of pointe shoe padding. I hope that I helped you out.

Try to get to a dance store, but until then you can use paper towels/tissues, and medical tape/sticking plasters. The foamy kind of plasters are extra cushiony if you need that. Probably the best thing to do is cut the front off a pair of socks, fuzzy thermal socks are good because they are thicker but if you don't have any you can just use 2 layers of normal socks.

i had a friend who once lost their padding too. they took a pair of old dance tights (the tan kind) and cut the toes off. after, they stuffed each toe with cotton balls. hope this works...good luck!

I'm not really sure, but I thik that maybe you should try using cotton balls. If that doesn't work, then you probably should get new toe pads.
